Rebrand - Quinoa Beer
UI/UX Design - Website - 2022 - 2023
As a UI/UX and website designer for Rebrand from August 2022 to April 2023, I collaborated closely with the founders and a front-end developer to design the brand’s website and establish its brand identity.
I was involved in every stage of the design process, creating wireframes and prototypes in Figma, and refining the website through multiple iterations.
While the startup is no longer operating and the final website is no longer online, the project demonstrated my ability to take a concept from ideation to launch, showcasing my skills in both UI/UX and brand development.
Project Goals and Results:
General Design Goals:
• Build clear, cohesive brand identity
• Design intuitive, user-friendly website
• Optimize for cost-effective development
• Streamline design process with Figma
Technical Considerations:
• Minimalistic design for easy scalability
• Responsive layout for all devices
• Efficient, low-cost hosting solutions
• Prototype testing for rapid iterations
Overall Achievement:
I successfully delivered a polished, intuitive website within budget constraints, leveraging smart design decisions and efficient tools like Figma to meet all project goals while supporting the startup’s limited resources.
I collaborated with Rebrand’s co-founders to establish the visual identity and brand personality for the company.
My work focused on targeting a young, modern, and health-conscious audience through thoughtful visual research and design.
I created personality boards and developed collaborative Figma boards to guide the brand’s look and feel. Drawing inspiration from visual references like David Hockney’s A Bigger Splash—a painting that evoked the sophisticated, fresh energy of a summer’s day—we crafted a color palette that embodied these themes.
Additionally, I designed a slide presentation to document and communicate our design direction as we refined Rebrand’s visual identity, ensuring alignment across the team. This early research laid the foundation for the brand’s cohesive and targeted visual style.
We finalized our visual references and color palette before I began creating mockups for the website.
Initially, I designed with a web-first approach; however, after discussions with the team, we pivoted to a mobile-first design strategy to better align with user needs.
I redeveloped the website design to emphasize bold colors, eye-catching shapes, and an engaging scroll experience that enhances user interaction.
We prioritized flexibility in the design, ensuring the site would be easy to update and expand with new sections in the future.
After numerous design iterations, we finalized a concept that we felt strongly represented the brand we were building. I then collaborated closely with Ada, our front-end developer, to refine the design as it transitioned into its final digital form. Throughout the process, I ensured she had all the necessary assets and provided support to maintain consistency between the mockups and the live website.
